Open organizations are places where psychological safety and growth mindset thrive together. Psychological safety is a strategic asset that enables employees to engage openly, learn quickly, and contribute meaningfully, thereby elevating value to internal and external stakeholders. Growth Mindset refers to the belief that our abilities and intelligence can be developed through dedication, effort, and learning.
The Open Assessment
The Open Assessment draws upon recent behavioral science research to uncover critical group dynamics, leadership practices, team learning processes, and organizational design characteristics that contribute to open organizational engagement. Then it goes a step further by determining the extent to which any of these factors may be significantly correlated with the performance, retention, and satisfaction of employees. This extra step enables OD Consultants and HR Business Partners to pinpoint and help teams collaboratively address specific aspects of psychological safety and growth mindset that are most likely to improve their well-being and effectiveness. After taking the Open Assessment, teams and departments are guided through a unique process of collaborative ideation, action planning, and continuous improvement.
