Guiding Light

In the wake of the recent launch of the MN Choices assessment program by DHS, a wave of additional tasks swept into our realm, leaving many grappling with heightened stress and anxiety. Amidst this challenging transition, a compassionate light emerged in the form of Kim Larson, our supervisor.

In the face of this increased workload, Kim's actions spoke volumes. She didn't just fulfill her role as a supervisor; she transformed into a true advocate. Her concern for our well-being was palpable, reaching beyond the realm of professional obligations. She extended a listening ear, offering valuable suggestions and a safe space to vent frustrations. This unwavering support played a pivotal role in alleviating the pressures we faced, showcasing her commitment to our welfare.

Kim's actions mirror the essence of our core values – "People-focused" and "Collaboration." Her genuine care transcends mere words, creating an environment where each team member's challenges are acknowledged and addressed. Her advocacy isn't just an isolated instance; it's a testament to her leadership style and her unwavering commitment to our collective success.

In moments of transition and uncertainty, leaders like Kim Larson are the pillars upon which we lean. Her actions reflect the very values that guide our journey, and her dedication is an inspiration to us all. As we navigate the currents of change, her support reminds us that we're not alone – we're part of a team that values each individual and thrives on collaboration. To Kim Larson, thank you for being the embodiment of the support and understanding that defines the heart of Aitkin County.
